I just done Honolulu and I have to admit, I wasn’t that impressed with it. I prefer to get to the north shores of O’ahu, and try and get away from all the crowds. it was packed in the summer months. 😀 But great list, my favourite on that list so far has to be San Francisco, amazing city and loving the outdoor activites on offer there.

You definitely have a good list of some of the best attractions in the United States. It feels strange to me to choose 25 from the entirety of America, because most States have at least 25 cool things to see! I loved visiting the Grand Canyon and also Horseshoe Bend, but just for the record, they are not the same place.

  3. Hannah says:

What a list! I am lucky to have visited 8 of these place (San Francisco and Big Sur are my favourites!)… and we are visiting 6 more in Spring next year. I am especially looking forward to seeing Yellowstone National Park – all those iconic photos and the wolf and bear center is of interest!

We really need to visit more of the U.S. And you have given us a few to add to the list. Hawaii is definitely one we want to visit. We are planning a trip for the spring and are looking at Brenkenridge and Denver in Colorado. So the tourist spots will be helpful in planning.

  5. Having done every place on this list, I’m happy that New York is still the number 1. No place on this planet is like it! Outside of the city (Utah, Big Sur, Breckenridge, and Savannah) are all great.

  6. sherianne says:

I didn’t realize how gorgeous Park City Utah is! I had a chance to go and passed, I’m bummed. I’m planning a trip to Savannah this winter and am super excited to see it on this list

  7. Linda says:

It’s my son’s dream to stay in a penthouse in New York, so we’re working on making it come true! Although I would love to spend a day or two in the city, I’d much rather discover Yosemite National Park. This is a great roundup of the top places to visit in the US.

  8. Nisha says:

This article has come at the right time! We are planning to go to the States next year for an extended holiday. We plan to stick to a few regions this time around, starting with East coast. Any suggestions for a 4 month tour.

  9. Sara says:

Oh yes, I will totally second New York, oh how I love thee. I am so bummed that Chicago didn’t make the list. I adore Chicago and I am still trying to work out if I love it more than NYC or not.

I am yet to make it to Savannah or Yellowstone, they are on my must see list.

  10. That was a really good list of places, all of them seem so beautiful! You have used some really good images too. Visiting USA should be on every travel bucket list and since the introduction of visa waiver program, visiting USA has become so easy!
