Suchá Belá gorge in winter – Slovak Paradise National Park, Slovakia
Suchá Belá is the most popular gorge to visit in the Slovak Paradise National Park. It can be found in Košice region, in the eastern part of Slovakia. The gorge features numerous waterfalls which are well frozen in winter months.

Hiking trip from the bottom to the top part of the gorge takes about 2 hours and you will need to overcome several ladders. Although it is often visited even by younger kids, the tour can be quite dangerous in some parts.
There are high ladders with chains and during winter months they can be icy, so Hiking Ice Grips are a must. Proper shoes and clothes are also required as the whole trail lead through the gorge with lots of water, streams, waterfalls and you can get wet very easily.
Sometimes you have to step into the water or walk along the waterfalls. The resting place with the covered roof as at the top of the gorge. Here you can also rent a bike during summer months and cycle back down to the parking spot in Podlesok, Hrabušice.
